Juice Pack Air Overview
The Juice Pack Air is different from previous Juice Pack’s from Mophie. Previous versions were just a cradle that you slid your iPhone into and did not offer protection for the rest of your iPhone. The Juice Pack Air is a full case that protects both the top and bottom of your iPhone. Towards the bottom of the case you will see the dock connector. We received the white version of the Juice Pack Air, but it also comes in black and purple.
Flipping the case over you can see it is a bit thicker than most iPhone cases, that’s because there is an extra battery back there. The Juice Pack Air contains a rechargeable 1200mAh lithium polymer battery, which should allow you to basically double the battery life on your iPhone. To check the battery level you can press the button on the back and the LED’s will indicate how much battery life is left. Just like all iPhone cases there is a cut out for the camera.
On the bottom of the Juice Pack Air you have USB connection, which uses a proprietary USB connector and you have the standby switch that is used to put the Juice Pack Air in standby mode and in charge mode.
Installation
Getting your iPhone inside of the Juice Pack Air is pretty simple. The top part of the case slides off and allows you to easily slide the iPhone into the cradle. Once in the cradle you can take the top piece and slide it back into place.
Just like all iPhone cases you have all the cut out for the external buttons and headphone connectors.
