Microsoft Office 365 Subscribers to get Free Unlimited OneDrive Cloud Storage

It looks like Microsoft is rewarding their Office 365 customers. They will be giving Office 365 subscribers free unlimited cloud storage via its OneDrive service. This roll out will begin immediately and will continue over the next few months. That means that you can get unlimited storage on OneDrive for as low as $6.99 a month with a Office 365 Personal subscription.

Microsoft OneDrive

Microsoft has said, “We’ve started rolling this out today to Office 365 Home, Personal, and University customers”. Customers who want to be one of the first to be able to access the unlimited OneDrive storage can go to a special website to put themselves in the front of the line. OneDrive for Business customers will be access to the unlimited space sometime in 2015.

Microsoft also added, “While unlimited storage is another important milestone for OneDrive we believe the true value of cloud storage is only realized when it is tightly integrated with the tools people use to communicate, create, and collaborate, both personally and professionally. That is why unlimited storage is just one small part of our broader promise to deliver a single experience across work and life that helps people store, sync, share, and collaborate on all the files that are important to them, all while meeting the security and compliance needs of even the most stringent organizations.”
