Major Update Brings a Performance Boost to Windows 10

Microsoft has released its first major update to the Windows 10 operating system. The update is said to bring a major performance boost to the operating system.

Microsoft claims that with this update, Windows 10 will have a 30 percent quicker start up than Windows 7, and will have higher “performance in everyday tasks.” The update also includes an update to Cortana which enables it to take inputs from your devices pen. This means it will recognize information like phone numbers, email addresses, and more. Windows 10 is currently a free upgrade for Windows 7 and 8.1 users.
