Logitech G35 Surround Sound Headset Review

Logitech G35 Overview
The G35 headset has an all black design and is a little larger and heavier than other headsets that I have seen.  The first thing that I noticed about this headset was the buttons on the left earpiece.  Starting at the top you have 3 “G” keys which are programmable via the included software.  Moving down you have a mute button and volume slider.  There is a switch on the side of the earpiece that enables “Dolby Headphone”, which we will discuss later in the review.

The other earpiece has a Logitech logo on it.  This is a gaming headset so it does include a microphone.  It is bendable so you can move it around, you can also slide it up out of the way if you are not using it.

The earcups have a nice layer of padding on them to keep your ears comfortable.  They are also shaped more like your ear rather than just a circle.  The headband has nice cushioning on it has well so wearing the headset for a long amount of time should not be an issue.  As I said the retail version of this headset comes with 2 other headbands.

The other side of the headband is rubberized which makes it nice to carry.  There is also a G35 logo on the headband.  The headband height can be adjusted by up to 11 adjustments.  The adjustment attachment is made of metal, not plastic so you don’t have to worry about it breaking.  The USB cable is 10 feet long, which is more than long enough.  The cable is woven rather than just a plain cable which is nice also.
