Logitech has been working on a really cool SDK that allows their G-Series gaming peripherals to interact with the games you play. They are calling this “Intelligent Illumination” and they have created a video showing what it can do with Battlefield Hardline.
So as you can see from the video if you happen to change teams the LEDs on the keyboard change color and they actually blink when you are taking damage. This is not only a cool effect, but gives the gamer additional feedback when playing a game. No word yet if Logitech will be working with more developers on this or if they will open up the SDK to everyone, but it is definitely a cool thing to see for sure.
