Lian Li Shows Computer Desks At CES 2015

Lian Li has made cases for years, and they are still making cases, but this one is a little different. Lian Li’s newest computer case is in the form a glass desk. A clear center with black glass around the sides allow you to see what’s underneath your desk, which is a drawer filled with your computer!

Lian Li Computer Desk DK-01/DK-02

Lian Li markets their computer desks (DK-01 and DK-02) as a computer case with legs, which means Lian Li built a useable case before making it into a desk. DK-01 is made to hold a single computer, whereas DK-02 can hold two separate systems. DK-01 supports E-ATX, HPTX, XL-ATX, ATX, and Micro-ATX motherboards, while having room for 10 3.5/2.5″ drives, 10 expansion slots, 4 USB 3.0 slots, 1 5.25″ drive bay, or 1 2.5″ HDD, audio I/O, and up to 7 120mm fans.

DK-02 is a bit larger than DK-01 and can hold two systems. One motherboard can be mini-ITX, and the second is similar to DK-01, E-ATX, HPTX, XL-ATX, ATX, and Micro-ATX. On the mini-ITX side there is room for 8 3.5/2.5″ HDDs, 3 expansion slots, 4 USB 3.0 ports, and audio I/O. Whereas the larger side has space for 9 3.5/2.5″ HDDs, and 8 expansion slots. The two systems share 8 120mm fans, and 1 5.25″/2.5″ drive bay.

DK-01 and DK-02 each have plenty of room for watercooling, include a keyboard tray, and a monitor stand can be purchased separately. DK-01 and DK-02 are available now at $989.99 and $1289.99 respectively.
