Lenovo ThinkPad With OLED Display Shown at CES 2016

Lenovo’s ThinkPad X1 series is their thin and light ThinkPad’s that offer quite a lot of features. This year at CES Lenovo was showing their new X1 Yoga and X1 Carbon. One surprise was that one version of the ThinkPad Yoga will come with an OLED display!

Lenovo has made improvements to both the X1 Yoga and X1 Carbon. One of the new additions is a smart pen built right into the laptop itself. Not only is it built into the laptop, but it charges inside the laptop as well. Both of these laptops are also WiGig compatible.

While both laptops have 14-inch screens the X1 Carbon will be available in a FHD (1920 x 1080) and WQHD (2560 x 1440) versions. The X1 Yoga on the other hard will be available in a WQHD (2560 x 1440) version and an OLED version. The OLED version will have anywhere from a $200 – $300 price premium over the $1449 pricetag of the X1 Yoga. It really is hard to tell in the above video but the OLED screen looks amazing!
