Lenovo today announced three new additions to its ThinkCentre desktop PC line designed for business users with price as a big priority.
The ThinkCentre E63z is a blend of essential features and affordable performance into an impressively thin all-in-one form factor. Lenovo also introduced a new member of its astonishingly small “Tiny” series with the M53 desktop PC. The M53 features Intel Pentium power, wireless connectivity and the unique USB keyboard power-on technology allowing the user to power up from a keyboard. In addition, Lenovo’s new high value ThinkCentre M79, available in mini tower or small form factor, includes Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 for enhanced security and enhanced remote management capability.
Designed with businesses in mind, these desktops now feature Smart USB Protection giving users or IT managers the ability to control access and usage of USB ports, and Solid State Hybrid Drive (SSHD) support to boost system performance. Also common are industry leading energy saving certifications including Energy Star 6.0 and EPEAT ratings.

ThinkCentre E63z
Stylish and slim, the E63z offers a space saving consumer oriented design with business features to ensure a secure and reliable platform in a professional environment. Smart USB Protection, CompuTrace support and a Kensington slot that doubles as a chassis lock offer peace of mind while the 19.5 inch HD+ WLED screen, also available with touch, includes an integrated camera optimized for voice over IP and high quality stereo speakers delivering enhanced collaboration. Models powered by Intel Core i3 processors also include HDMI out port, a card reader and a Rapid Charge USB port to keep your mobile devices powered up.
ThinkCentre M53
Offering the same “Tiny” form factor as its high powered brothers, the M73 and M93p, the newest addition to the family also includes the remote power up option with a supported keyboard and flexible mounting solutions to make best use of desk space. It also shares accessories and power connectors with other “Tiny” desktops ensuring a better return on investment. A free system management tool (PC Cloud Manager 3.0) is included and Intelligent Cooling Engine (ICE) 3.0 that optimizes system cooling and fan acoustics helps maximize reliability.
ThinkCentre M79
Equipped with the latest AMD A-Series Accelerated Processing Units (APUs), the ThinkCentre M79 improves productivity and creativity with up to 50% graphic performance enhancement over predecessors. SSD or SSHD options further boost system performance and both small form factor and mini tower models can support three independent displays with the optional second DisplayPort connector for a truly immersive workplace experience.
Users can rest assured that innovative hard work is protected by world-class security and reliability. The M79 features the same Smart USB Protection of the other models but also includes TPM 1.2 for enhanced data protection to keep those valuable files safe. Users can also remotely manage their desktop through the enhanced management capability of DASH (Desktop and Mobile Architecture for System Hardware) 1.1. ThinkCentre M79 also features the same ICE 3.0 of the M53 ultimately helping to extend the life of the PC.
Pricing and Availability
The ThinkCentre E63z is available now starting at $479 with Intel Core i3 models available later in the year.
The ThinkCentre M53 tiny desktop will be available shortly starting at $439.
The ThinkCentre M79 is available now starting at $449.
