Auburn based Koolance Inc. is finally letting out the water block for the much popular Radeon R9 290X graphics card. The company has released the Radeon R9 290X Water Block which is a full cover water block and has exclusively been designed for the Radeon R9 290X which is AMD’s very own flagship card. This water block has been codenamed as the VID-AR290X and has been fashioned out of solid copper which also features the nickel-plating which ensures that extra protection is being given.
The water block provides enough coverage for the most crucial parts which include the GPU, memory and VRM. The water block merely weighs 0.91 kg and has a G 1/4 BSPP threading. The VID-AR290X has been designed on the high-performance microfin (0.5 mm) design which has been built from the tough copper which has anti eroding properties and the nickel plating which has been mentioned earlier. The standard kit comes along with multiple pre-installed spacers, nickel-plated brass fittings and some bolts (stainless steel). The water block which is available for $129.99 is suitable for both single and multi-card configurations.
