Kingston Shows HyperX Predator PCIe Solid State Drive

At CES this year Kingston was showing a very promising PCI-Express solid state drive. Going under the name HyperX Predator this drive will be based on LSI’s upcoming SandForce 3700 series controller codenamed Griffin.

This drive will have theoretical speeds of up to 1800 MB/s if it is used in a x4 PCI-Express slot. That is some serious speed! The drive will also have a pretty slick aluminum cover that has both the HyperX and Predator logos on it.

Expect to see the HyperX Predator later this year when the LSI controller launches.
