EVGA X99 Classified (full details)
EVGA X99 Classified Motherboard

The EVGA X99 Classified will be the flagship motherboard in EVGA’s X99 line. The motherboard features an almost all black design with a red “E” on the PCH heatsink. The board features a 10 phase PWM and the CPU gets power via an 8pin EPS connector. It will of course feature the LGA2011-3 socket that is surrounded by four DDR4 DIMM slots on each side. Right next to the DDR4 slots we can see a DEBUG LED and power on and off buttons.

For storage you have 10 SATA 6GB/s ports and there is a single USB 3.0 header at the bottom of the board at a 90 degree angle. Expansion slots include five PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots and a single PCI-Express 3.0 x4 slot. A M.2 slot can be found on one side of the PCI-Express 3.0 x4 slot and an mSATA slot on the other side. There is a 6pin PCI-Express connector at the bottom of the board to give extra power to your expansion slots. At the rear I/O you have six USB 2.0, four USB 3.0, a CMOS button, dual Gigabit Ethernet and 7.1 channel audio.

EVGA X99 FTW Motherboard

The EVGA X99 FTW board is much like the X99 Classified and has almost the same layout. The PCI-Express slots are colored red and the big “E” on the PCH heatsink is silver. The board will have the same 10 SATA 6GB/s ports, five PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots, single PCI-Express 3.0 x4 slot and same power and reset buttons. The thing missing on this board is the mSATA and M.2 slots. Also both boards will feature an isolated audio PCB, but it looks like that has not been finished yet.

Storage will include six SATA 6GB/s ports along with a USB 3.0 port at the bottom of the board. Expansion is in the form of three PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots and there is a mSATA connector there for mSATA SSDs. Rear I/O will include six USB 2.0, four USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, and a 7.1 audio connections.
