Intel Core i7 “Haswell-E” Pricing Revealed

We have been hearing many different rumors on Haswell-E pricing, but VideoCardz has revealed the pricing for Intel’s next-generation HEDT (high-end desktop) processors in leaked press slides that they have obtained.

Intel Haswell-E Pricing

So starting off with the flagship Core i7-5960X it will have an MSRP of $999. This processor is the extreme processor out of the group and it has 8 cores, 16 threads, 20 MB of L3 cache, quad channel DDR4 support and 40 PCI-Express 3.0 lanes. It has a core clock of 3.50 GHz and a turbo speed of 3.5 GHz.

Next down the list is the Core i7-5930K at $583. This six core chip will have 12 threads, 15 MB of L3 cache, quad channel DDR4 support and 40 PCI-Express 3.0 lanes. This chip will have a higher base clock speed of 3.5 GHz with a turbo speed of 3.7 GHz.

Finally ending off the Haswell-E lineup is the Core i7-5820K at $389, that is only $50 more than the Core i7-4790K. This is also a six core chip that has 12 threads, 15 MB of L3 cache and quad channel DDR4 memory support. There is a trade-off though, you only get 28 PCI-Express 3.0 lanes instead of the 40 on the other two chips. The Core i7-5820K will have a base clock speed of 3.3 GHz with a turbo frequency of up to 3.6 GHz.

All three chips feature unlocked base-clock multipliers and have a TDP of 140W
