Intel Core i3-8350K, i3-8300, and i3-8100 “Coffe Lake” CPUs Detailed

It looks like we will see the first quad-core processors in Intel’s Core i3 lineup. These will come in the form of at least three processors which are the Core i3-8350K, Core i3-8300, and Core i3-8100. All three of these chips lack HyperThreading though, which is a little disappointing. All three support dual channel DDR4-2400 memory.

So starting with the Core i3-8350K, it seems like it will be the successor to the Core i3-7350K, which is being sold for $189. The chip is fully unlocked, has a base clock of 4.0 GHz, unknown boost clock, 8 MB of shared L3 cache, and a TDP of 91W.

The Core i3-8300 will not be unlocked, but has pretty much the same specifications. Expect it to have a lower boost clock as well.

Finally there is the Core i3-8100, which is also not unlocked. It has a base clock of 3.6 GHz, an unknown boost clock, 6 MB of shared L3 cache, and a TDP of 65W.
