Intel Bay Trail Powered Acer Iconia W4 Tablet Spotted

It looks like the very popular Acer Iconia tablet is getting an upgrade. At a recent event an Acer Iconia W4 tablet was spotted with a Bay Trail processor and IPS display.

The new 8-inch tablet will feature a 1.33 GHz Atom Z3740 processor, 2GB of memory and 32 GB of storage. The tablet will has a new “wide view angle” IPS screen as well. The W4 was also running Windows 8.1 so we expect to see it launch next month around with Windows 8.1 will launch (October 17th).
