In Win Shows Off Spherical E-ATX Case

In Win is always a company we look to at Computex for something crazy and this year they are presenting their WINBOX spherical E-ATX case. This case is definitely going to draw some attention, it is mainly made of aluminum and molded acrylic. The clear, transparent sphere surrounds the motherboard tray, mounts for the PSU, drive bay, and liquid cooling setup.

The case actually opens like a Pokeball, who would have thought! The coolest features has to be the built-in biometric security system, complete with facial recognition, voice recognition, and a voice command interface. The facial recognition makes use of multiple cameras to map 3D contours of a face, and can tell a real face from a picture. When you are not using he camera to open up the case you can use it to take some pretty cool 3D selfies.

This case is pretty massive, it has official dimensions of 700 mm x 685 mm x 648 mm. With that size you have room inside for E-ATX motherboards, graphics cards up to 330 mm, CPU coolers up to 170 mm, and multiple 2.5-inch drives. The cooling system has three front 120 mm intakes, and two 120 mm rear exhausts, with multiple radiator mounts.

On the front panel there is a single USB 3.1 Type-C port, three USB 3.0/3.1 type-A ports, and HDA jacks. There is also a handle on the bottom, not sure how helpful it would be to be honest.
