In Win 305 Case Review

A Look Inside
Taking the main side panel off the case we can take a look inside. In Win continues the black theme inside of the case as well. For those wondering the white version of the case has a black interior as well.

The thing that really stands out inside the case is the honeycomb design towards the top. This is actually where you will mount your cooling fans or radiator. You have support for up to three 120 mm fans or a 360 mm radiator. For those wondering the total clearance to the side panel is 70 mm. The fans you install here will exhaust air out the other side of the case where the honeycomb ventilation holes are.

All the way at the bottom of the case there are three more 120 mm fan mounts. So for airflow the whole idea is the you intake air from the bottom of the case and then it goes up over your components and finally goes out the top right side panel.

The rest of the main side of the interior will house your motherboard as well as a few SSDs. You have support for ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards. There are three spots to mount SSDs on this side of the case, although there are only two trays installed. These trays are held in place by a single thumbscrew, so you can easily install your SSDs outside of the case.

Flipping over to the other side and removing that panel we can see this side of the case is separated into two main sections. The top section will house your power supply (ATX support up to 200mm). There are specific cut-outs in the case to route all of your power supply cables.

Moving down you’ll find two more storage trays on the backside of the motherboard tray. These are also held into place by a single thumbscrew. The trays are a little larger supporting either a single 3.5-inch hard drive or 2.5-inch SSD.

If you are worried about cable routing on the backside of the motherboard tray there is just under an inch of space, which should be sufficient based on how this case is designed.
