ICY DOCK MB991IK-B 2.5-inch SATA Bay Enclosure Review

Installation
Installing the Icy Dock MB991IK-B was pretty cut and dry. Just flip the cage over and slide in the SSD or HDD. After that you line up the holes and screw it together with the 4 screws. Flip it back over and you’re good to go.

Now you slide the Icy Dock Cage back into the enclosure. You start by pulling the tab and pushing the drive in and then locking it into place by letting go of the tab. This time the tab will automatically slide away from the slide lock.

The next step is to simply slip the drive into your free 3.5” bay on the front, line up the holes, and then screw it in.

After this is complete you can hook up the cables on the inside of the case to allow the drive to work when the computer is booted on. Hooking up the cables is pretty straight forward and simple.  Below is a photo of the front showing how it lines up and looks after it is all completed. It looks and matches the Thermaltake A90 it is installed in.
