Graphics Testing – Games
Now here is the section I’m sure most of you are interested in. How does the Slate 9200 stack up in games? Well we decided to select five different games and run them in 1080p, 1440p, and 4K resolutions, using the same graphics settings for each test. The settings for each game is listed below.
Ashes of the Singularity: DX12, Built-in benchmark, High graphics setting
Battlefield 1: DX12, Ultra graphics setting
The Division: DX12, Built-in benchmark, High graphics setting
DOOM: Ultra graphics setting
GTA V: DX11, Everything on the main graphics setting page turned all the way up, No MSAA
So first we have our 1080p results.
As you can see the Slate 9200 easily rips through these titles at 1080p resolution. Up next we have 1440p.
At 1440p the system performs very well, with all of the tests easily getting over 60 FPS. Finally we have 4K.
The 4K tests were a little under the 60 FPS threshold that we like to see, but if you turned the settings down a little we could easily achieve 60 FPS in these titles.
