HyperX CloudX Headset Is Officially Licensed For Xbox One

HyperX has been successful with their Cloud series on PC, and now they’ve worked with Microsoft to bring an officially licensed headset dubbed CloudX to Xbox One. CloudX will work directly with the 3.5mm port on new Xbox One controllers, and no extra adapters are required.

CloudX is based on the same framework that created the award-winning HyperX Cloud II. Xbox One gamers will enjoy sound from 53mm drivers wrapped in memory foam, and accented by a soft leather headband. CloudX’s closed earcup design will help block out ambient noise, and its detachable microphone can be easily removed when it is not in use. In align with traditional stock Xbox One headsets, HyperX added inline volume and microphone control to CloudX.

HyperX CloudX for Xbox One is expected to launch late Q2 2016, pricing is not yet available.
