Have You Seen The VR Virtual Desktop Yet?

To be honest I am not really that sold on VR. I am an avid PC gamers and while gaming in VR would be cool, it just does not appeal to me that much. If you ask anyone on the ThinkComputers staff they actually make fun of me because I am not really behind VR. Well I came across something the other day that actually really got me excited about VR. It is Virtual Desktop for VR. I have to say it looks pretty amazing! Pictures are not going to do it any justice so just take a look at the video below.

Virtual Desktop is an application developed for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive that lets you use your computer in VR. You can browse the web, watch movies, Netflix or even play games on a giant virtual screen.

While many people think VR is just reserved for games and other experiences Virtual Desktop allows you to use your computer in VR for more practical applications. For some people this could completely replace their monitor!
