Hands On With the Lenovo Ideapad 710s

For a lot of people the 13-inch size is the perfect size for a laptop. Lenovo was showing a new 13-inch laptop in the form of their Ideapad 710s at CES 2016. One of the coolest features of this laptop is that while it has a 13.3-inch screen it is actually in a 12-inch chassis. This is made possible by the slim bezel on the screen.

Inside you will be able to have up to a 6th generation Core i7 processor, up to 8GB of memory, and up to 256GB of PCIe SSD storage. You also have the ability to choose a processor with Intel Iris Pro graphics. The Ideapad 710s has a pretty small footprint at only 0.5″ thin and weighing in at 2.6 lbs. The screen will offer FDH (1920 x 1080) resolution and Lenovo says you will be able to get up to 8 hours of battery life. The Ideapad 710s will start at $799 in both silver and gold colors and be available in July of 2016.

You will be able to have up to a 6th generation Intel Core i7 SV processor inside and up to 8GB of memory. Graphics options are up to a GeForce GTX 950M 4GB in the 15.6-inch and a GeForce GTX 940M 4GB in the 17-inch. As far as storage goes you have the option of a 1 TB HDD, 1TB SHDD, or a 128/256GB PCIe SSD. Both models will start at $799 and be available in June of this year.
