Hands On With the Dell XPS 13

Dell took the time to show us one of their latest laptops at CES 2015, their XPS 13. This was one of the products at the show everyone was talking about. The thing that makes this laptop so unique is that it has a virtually borderless infinity display, giving the user a truly immersive experience when using the device. The bezel is only 5.2 mm thick and you do have the option to get the XPS 13 with a Quad HD+ display.

Dell is also calling the XPS 13 the smallest 13-inch laptop on the planet. It is more or less a 13-inch laptop in the chassis of an 11-inch laptop. You really have to see the XPS 13 in person to appreciate its size. Not only is the XPS 13 small, but it is also light as well. Configurations will start at a mere 2.6 lbs.

The XPS 13 will also boast some very impressive battery life, Dell is telling us up to 15 hours on a single charge! Under the hood the laptop is based off Intel’s new 5th Generation Intel Core Broadwell processors and will have a solid state drive for great performance. The XPS 13 also has an aluminum lid that looks great.
