GX Gaming KMH 100 Gaming Kit Review

Final Thoughts
Like I said earlier in this review I am a huge fan of kits like this and they make perfect gifts. In this kit GX Gaming gives you three of their best products. You have a gaming keyboard in the Imperator, a gaming mouse in the Maurus and a gaming headset in the Lychas. That is everything you need to get going and get your game on.

Out of all of the products the one I feel is the most solid is the Imperator keyboard. It works just fine and is extremely comfortable to type on. The six “G” keys allow you to use saved macros and assign different commands to them for easy use in your games. There are three different profiles so that gives you up to 18 different programmable commands. You can easily switch between your profiles by using the M1-M3 keys at the top center of the keyboard. The built-in wrist rest makes typing even more comfortable and is an added plus.

The Maurus mouse is a nice gaming mouse. I found it fits my hand pretty well and using it for FPS games works great. The rubber coating on each side makes it very comfortable to use. The GX logo lights up and you can actually control how fast it pulses in the software. If you do not like the light you can turn it off. I did feel like it was extremely difficult to press the button on the far right side of the mouse. It was just very awkward.

The Lychas headset was pretty interesting to use. The reason I am saying that is that it was the first headset that I have used that I could actually turn the volume up or down on each individual ear. I could definitely see some type of application for this. The earcups on the headset are very comfortable, but I do had to say the headband on the headset is not very comfortable at all. I can not recommend using this headset for an extended period of time. The earcups fold in, making this headset very easy to throw in a bag.

GX Gaming has put together a great kit here. Right now you can pick up the kit for $103.99 at my favorite online retailer. I would have honestly liked to have seen a better price on this. You can buy each product separately and they would equal out to $105. Saving a dollar does not give many people an incentive to purchase this kit over buying the items separately. Overall ThinkComputers gives the GX Gaming KMH 100 Gaming Kit an 8 out of 10 score.
