GTA V Already Topping Steam Sales Charts

We are one week away from the release of one of the most anticipated PC games of 2015, Grand Theft Auto V. The PC version has been overhauled with graphical enhancements and will support 4K resolution. Rockstar showed off their PC trailer last week and we were really impressed.

With all of the hype surrounding the game and the announcement that you will be able to start preloading the game starting today it is already topping the Steam Sales chart.

So it seems like gamers are already jumping on the game before it is released. It has been reported that the game was also on the Steam top sales chart the week before as well, which is no surprise. Earlier in March when Cities: Skylines was launched it passed 500,000 units within the first six days of its launch. It held the top spot on Steam’s sales chart the week of March 15 – 22. So that would put GTA V somewhere between 250,000 units currently. If the game keeps selling at this rate it could sell a million copies before its launch on April 14th.
