Overview
The GlacialTech Igloo 5610 Plus Silent CPU Cooler is a short vertical cooler standing at about 5.5in. The Igloo 5610 Plus Silent is one of two in the 5610 Plus Series; the other being the 5610 Plus PWM, which only has a single fan. The Plus Silent, the one we got to review, has two 92mm fans wired together so that you can attach them to either side of the heatsink. The heatsink also comes with thermal grease applied on the base of the heatsink so there is no need to apply your own.
The heatsink has two heatpipes running up either side of it. When taking a side view it’s easier to see that the heatpipes are aligned more towards the side of the fins with the rigid design.
The fins on the opposite side have a flat side. The two smaller sides of fins are also flat, but have a notch in them for installation of the two 92mm fans.
The two heatpipes bend slightly from either side of the base to mount up into the fin stack. The base itself is relatively small with thermal grease already applied to it. Along the two sides of the base that don’t have heatpipes coming out of them are two metal slabs which have four screw holes in. The different screw holes are for different socket installations.
