Gigabyte has officially launched its flagship GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card the GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming. This will be Gigabyte’s highest factory overclocked GTX 1080. The card will feature a custom-designed PCB with a strong VRM and very hefty new custom-cooling solution.
The new cooling solution is the WindForce Stack 3X, which is a three fan cooler with a “stacked” design. So the middle fan is slightly receded from the plane of the other two fans. This design and arrangement maximizes air flow to the heatsink according to Gigabyte. The cooler also features an “X” shaped arrangement of RGB LED lighting, and a logo on the top of the card next to the two 8-pin PCI-Express power connectors.
The card also features a nice backplate that has the Gigabyte Xtreme Gaming logo on it. As far as accessories goes with the card it comes with a 2U-spaced HB bridge, a front-panel device that fits into a 5.25-inch bay, giving you two HDMI 2.0b ports, and a pair of USB 3.0 ports relayed from the header on your motherboard. Gigabyte is backing the card with a very impressive 4-year warranty!
