Gigabyte Makes The BRIX Gaming GT Desktop Official

Gigabyte has finally made their BRIX Gaming GT series compact desktop series official. These units measure 276 mm x 384 mm x 128 mm (DxHxW) and are ready to handle 1440p and even 4K gaming! Gigabyte is also marketing these desktops as the perfect device for VR gaming in the living room.

Under the hood you have an Intel Core i7-6700K quad-core processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, 32 GB of dual-channel DDR4-2133 SO-DIMM memory, a 240 GB M.2 SSD, and an additional 1 TB 2.5-inch HDD. There is also an extra 2.5-inch bay for an additional hard drive. The system is powered by a 400W custom-designed PSU and the case has a common air channel that pushes hot air up from top-vents.

You also get Killer E2400 Ethernet and Intel 3165NGW dual-band 802.11ac WLAN with dual Bluetooth 4.0 interfaces. There are two USB 3.1 ports (Type-A / Type-C), four USB 3.0 ports (one Type-C), and 6-channel audio. Windows 10 comes pre-installed on the machine as well. No word yet on pricing.
