Gigabyte Getting Into The Enthusiast PSU Market

In the past Gigabyte has sold entry level and mid-range power supplies, but now they are going to explore the high-end PC power supply market. At Computex 2016 the company was showing off their new Xtreme Gaming line of power supplies.

The unit that they were showing off was the first model in the series which is the XP1200M. This is a 1200W power supply that features an 80 PLUS Platinum rating, all Japanese capacitors, a single +12V rail, DC-to-DC switching, a 140 mm double ball-bearing cooling fan, which will stay off when your system is idle, and a modular cable design with flat cables.

It is not clear, but we expect a few different wattage’s other than the 1200W.
