Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 WindForce OC Edition Pictured

Gigabyte will have a special OC Edition of the GeForce GTX 770 called the GeForce GTX 770 WindForce. The card will of course be overclocked, will use a custom 3-fan cooler and a non-reference PCB design. This card will of course deliver better performance than a reference and it has already been listed by Chinese retailers.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 WindForce OC Edition will make use of a refined GK104 core, which has the codename GK10425 A2. It will be clocked a little higher than the original GK104-400 core and will have some minor improvements. It will feature 1536 CUDA cores, 128 TMUs, 32 ROPs and 2 GB of GDDR5 memory across a 256-bit bus. The reference card will be clocked at 1046 MHz core and 1085 MHz boost, but since the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 WindForce is an overclocked card it will be clocked at 1137 MHz core and 1187 boost.

The card makes use of a custom cooler that features three 100mm cooling fans and a large aluminum heatsink that has six copper heatpipes. This would deliver a maximum cooling performance of up to 450W.

The Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 WindForce OC Edition features 4-way SLI support and is powered by an 8pin + 6pin power connectors compared to dual 6pin connectors on the reference GTX 770 models. Display outputs include dual DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort. Reference GTX 770;s will cost $399-$449 at launch so expect this model to come at a premium. It will be available in both 2GB and 4GB versions.
