Gaming Friday: Boxhead More Rooms

We here at ThinkComputers are very avid gamers. So each Friday we will be covering a game that should help you get through the weekend. The games will range from new games to classics that we still love to play. They also are not limited to just PC games either. If you have a game you think we should cover check out the Gaming Friday thread in the forums.

Today we will be checking out a game that pretty much anyone can play since it is flash-based.  Do you like games with waves of enemies that you need to kill?  Games that are simple, but will keep you occupied for hours?  Well Boxhead More Rooms is the perfect game for you.  Read on to see how this flash game is so addicting and where you can play it at.

I discovered Boxhead More Rooms probably a good 2 years ago.  I’m not even sure how I came across it, most likely someone sent me the link to check it out.  Playing the game once I was instantly hooked!  I probably played the game for 2 hours at least the first time trying to get the high score and coming up with a strategy.

So what is Boxhead More Rooms?  It is a flash-based game where you need to survive waves and waves of zombies.  It’s called “More Rooms” because in this version of the game you get a choice of 8 different levels or “Rooms”.  I’ve played all of the rooms, but I play the “Boxy” level the most.

In this level zombies come in waves from the top and bottom.  You start out with a pistol and get upgrades as you kill zombies.  Upgraded weapons range from an Uzi all the way up to a rocket launcher.  There are even things like exploding barrels and fake walls that will help you keep the zombies off you.

The controls are extremely simple.  The spacebar is shoot, arrow keys move your character, the number keys go through your weapons, and P pauses the game.  As I said the game can be very addicting, sometimes I’ve played it all night.  It is not an easy game either as you keep on progressing there are harder zombies and bosses.

So where can you play this game? You can check the game out over at Crazy Monkey Games.  I’m sure you will be hooked the moment you start playing!
