G.Skill Unveils 960GB PCI-Express SSD at Computex

For all of your storage buffs out there G.Skill definitely has something for you at Computex 2014! They were showing off their brand new Phoenix Blade Series of PCI-Express solid state drives, which if you can guess are very, very fast!

G.Skill Phoenix Blade Solid State Drive

The new drives from G.Skill make use of the PCI-Express 2.0 x8 bus and comes in 480 GB and 960 GB sizes. The 960 GB version offers sequential read speeds of 1800 MB/s or 1.8 GB/s! Sequential writes are at 1100 MB/s or 1.1 GB/s and 4KB Random IOPS are hitting 230K! Those are some blazing fast speeds!
