G.Skill Releases Phoenix Blade Series 480GB PCIe SSD

G.Skill has just announced their Phoenix Blade Series 480 GB PCIe solid state drive. This high performance solid state drive is ideal for extreme gaming, professional graphic design, industrial design, and HD video & audio content creation.

G.Skill Phoenix Blade PCIe SSD

The Phoenix Blade solid state drive is a PCI-Express drive so it breaks free of the bottlenecks we see with typical SATA solid state drives, much like the OCZ RevoDrive 350 that we recently reviewed. The Phoenix Blade SSD is designed with a PCIe Gen 2.0 x8 interface, 4x LSI SF-2281 solid state drive controllers in a RAID 0 setup, and integrated 480GB of MLC flash.
