Foxconn Considering Opening at Plant in the U.S.

We all know this is cheaper the outsource production of electronics overseas where labor is much cheaper and labor laws are not is strict. That is why most of the electronics we buy are made overseas. While we do not see that changing anytime soon it is nice to see some companies move some of their production to the U.S. It looks like Foxconn is thinking about opening up a plant in the U.S.

Terry Gou, Foxconn’s chairman told the media at the company’s 40th anniversary that the company is currently evaluating a plan to build an advanced display manufacturing factory to the U.S., which The Wall Street Journal says is its largest market.

It looks like Foxconn is currently looking into building the plant in Pennsylvania at the moment.
