The very popular Fortnite has achieved another milestone over the weekend hitting over 30 million players total and a concurrent user count of over 1.3 million! That is quite a feat and obviously has a lot of to do with them adding the Battle Royale mode to the game.
Senior systems designed at Epic Eric Williamson was not at liberty to say what the split was between Battle Royale and the standard version of Fortnite, but he did say, “Battle Royale is free, so naturally more people will be inclined to play Battle Royale.” PR Manager Nick Chester also added that Epic is pleased with the growth of both sides of the game.
