EVGA Z170 Motherboards Debut at Computex

EVGA is showing three new motherboards that are ready for Skylake and based on the Z170 chipset. These three new motherboards include the Z170 Classified, Z170 FTW, and the Z170 Stinger. The flagship board is the Z170 Classified, it features a 10 phase PWM design and gets power from a combination of 24pin and dual 8pin connectors. The board has four DDR4 memory slots that support up to 64GB of memory at speeds up to 3400 MHz (OC). Expansion includes five PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots, a single PCI-Express x4 slot, and a M.2 slot. Storage includes SATA 6GB/s ports and two SATA Express ports.

EVGA Z170 Classified

The Z170 FTW is a step down from the Z170 Classified. From the looks of it, it will feature either a 8 or 10 phase VRM and gets power by way of a combination of 24pin and 8pin connectors. Expansion slots include four PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots, a single PCI-Express x4, and a single M.2 slot. Storage will include six SATA III ports.

EVGA Z170 Motherboards

The last board is the Z170 Stinger, which will be a mini-ITX board. This board will have a 6 phase PWM design and only two DDR4 memory slots. Expansion is a single PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots and for storage you have four SATA 6GB/s ports.
