EpicGear Melodiouz In-Ear Gaming Headset Review

EpicGear Melodiouz In-Ear Gaming Headset Overview
The first thing you’ll notice about the Melodiouz is that the ear-pieces are pretty large, much larger than the earbuds that came with your mobile device. They look quite good too! Each ear piece has a gunmetal color with the “EG” EpicGear logo in the center in neon orange, which matches the cabling on the headset.

Inside of each ear piece is a 13.5mm driver, or what EpicGear calls a “mega driver”. The headset comes with three sets of earbuds, so no matter what the size of your ears you should be able to find one that will fit correctly. You also get two sets of ear stems which will securely hold each ear piece in your ear.

On the back of each ear piece you’ll find “L” and “R” symbols, which of course let you know which ear piece is left or right. On the left ear piece there is a connection for the detachable omni-directional microphone. The microphone is bendable so you can properly place is where you want it.

Moving down the headset you’ll notice that EpicGear has gone with a flat cable design. I actually prefer these as they are less likely to tangle. Coming down from the left ear piece you’ll find the inline controls. On one side you have a volume slider and microphone mute slider. On the other there are back, forward, and play/pause buttons.
