Enermax iVektor Case Review

Installation
To start off installation you are going to want to install your motherboard first. Enermax has already pre-installed the standoffs so you do not have to worry about that. I had no real issues getting my motherboard installed inside of the case. I did however have a problem not being able to route my 8pin EPS connector extender through the provided routing hole at the top left of the motherboard tray. This is pretty much inexcusable and all 8pin EPS connector ends are the same size. If you are going to design a case with a hole for routing cables make sure that the most common cable for that spot will actually fit through it.

Next is our hard drives. Both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch drives are installed using the tool-less rails. All you have to do is install the rails on each drive like you see below, then just simply slide the drives right in and they will lock into place.

Optical drive installation is just as easy. First slide off the bezel cover where you want your drive to be installed. Then slowly and carefully slide your optical drive in. Once it is fully in you can lock it into place with the tool-less locking system as shown below.

When installing your power supply all you have to worry about is a small lip that it has to fit under. Once you have your power supply in place you can secure it inside with 4 included screws. Now it is time to connect everything and route our cables. I was able to route pretty much all of my cables around the back of the motherboard tray. This keeps the inside of the case looking nice and allows for better airflow. The last piece of hardware to install was my video card which went in without any issues at all.

Here are a few final shots before I went ahead and put the side panel back on the case.

The side panel window is smoked so it is a little hard to see your hardware unless you have something inside lighting up the case. Powered on our system we can see that the fan on our CPU cooler and our memory is lighting up nicely. Also the included intake fan lights up blue and is quite bright.
