Enermax Fulmo GT Full Tower Case Review

A Look Inside
The first thing that I thought when I opened the Fulmo GT up was, “Damn there is a lot of space in here!”. There really is a lot of space! The Fulmo GT can support motherboards as small as Micro-ATX and as large as HPTX! As you can see from the photos below there are quite a few cable routing holes, 13 total and 12 of which have the rubber inserts installed.

Starting towards the front of the case the four 5.25-inch drive bays use a simple tool-less system. If you choose not to use the tool-less system you can remove them on each drive bay. Moving down there are 10 hard drive trays, yes 10! Each tray easily comes out and will support both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch hard drives.

The bottom of the case is all ventilated and as we move back towards the power supply mounting we see something interesting, there is a velcro strap to hold your power supply in place. Also around the power supply opening is sound dampening material.

Moving up you have the 10 expansion slots. They use simple thumbscrews. Having 10 expansion slots means you can have a pretty awesome graphics card setup. Also if you were wondering this case supports cards all the way up to 425 mm! At the top of the case we can see both cooling fans. It looks like if you want to use the top power supply mount you will have to move the top fan.

There is not one, but two CPU cutouts on this board. This is for dual-chip motherboards. These will allow you to install aftermarket CPU coolers without having to remove your motherboard from the case.

Inside of the case you will notice two circuit boards, these are what control the included fans. You can easily connect more fans so you can control them with the controls on the top of the case. Also as far as internal connections go you have two internal USB 3.0 connections as well as two SATA (one for the hard drive dock and the other for the eSATA port).

If we take a second side panel off of the case we can really see how the case is setup. There is more than enough room behind the motherboard tray for routing all of your cables.

We couldn’t forget about the box of goodies! Inside you will find all of your mounting screws and standoffs, an internal to external USB 3.0 adapter, velcro straps, 4 wheels, and the user’s manual. Yes there are wheels included, with all of your hardware installed this case is going to be quite heavy so why not roll it around!
