Soundstage Speakers Overview
This is a 2.1 system so it is comprised of 2 satellite speakers and a subwoofer. The system is designed in black with silver accents, this is the only color that these speakers come in. This system is rated at 35 watts at RMS and 70 watts at peak, which is normal for a 2.1 system.
The satellite speakers are actually quite large for a 2.1 system, but they are extremely light. I was really surprised when I took the system out at how light they were. That usually is a sign of bad quality, but we will just have to see. Each satellite has two 3-inch midrange drivers and one 1-inch tweeter. The drivers are not covered at all so it would be very easy to puncture them by accident.
The subwoofer is also quite large. On the front of it is an LCD that will display the volume, treble, bass, EQ and more. Below the LCD is a control panel that will allow you to change the volume of the bass, treble, and overall volume.
The subwoofer has a 5.25-inch driver that actually fires out of the side. Moving around back you have all if your connections. You have 2 connections for the satellites, a 3.5mm input and RCA inputs. There is also a power switch.
