Drevo Joyeuse 96-Key Wireless Mechanical Keyboard Review

Usage & Final Thoughts
I have been using this keyboard for the past few weeks. The first thing you’ll have to adjust to is the size of the this keyboard. The keys are very close together so it is likely you’ll end up pressing two keys at once until you get used to it. Secondly this keyboard sits very flat, that is something that will take some time to adjust to too.

After being fully adjusted to this keyboard I do have to say it is extremely comfortable to type on. The low profile mechanical switches still give you that mechanical switch feel and feedback you get with normal-sized switches. I went with the blue switches, which happen to be my favorite and I love the audible click they make, although it is not as loud as what you would get on a full-size switch. For a typing keyboard the Joyeuse is definitely one I would recommend.

Now when it comes to gaming things are a little different, and keep in mind Drevo has told us this is in no way a gaming keyboard, but we did want to see what it was like to game on. The biggest thing with gaming is the compact size of the keyboard. I found multiple times I would be hitting the wrong keys or two keys at once by accident. Also the flat style is not really the best for gaming either.

One thing I really have liked about Drevo keyboards is that they are both wired and wireless. So with the Joyeuse you can connect it normally with the included USB cable or wirelessly over Bluetooth. Getting it connected is a breeze and I really did not run into any issues with connectivity. Also when you have it connected via USB it is charging it as well.

At the end of the day if you are looking for a keyboard just for typing or a cool keyboard for the office I can highly recommend the Joyeuse from Drevo. It has a solid design, low-profile mechanical switches, and looks great with the white backlighting. Right now you can pick up the Joyeuse at our favorite online retailer for $67.99, which is a great price. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Drevo Joyeuse 96-Key Wireless Mechanical Keyboard a 9 out of 10 score.
