Dell says this about their new display, “Enter a new dimension of multitasking with a curved monitor that delivers an immersive, panoramic screen that surrounds your senses with amazingly detailed edge-to-edge WQHD (3440×1440) imagery and crystal-clear sound.”

One thing that is really cool about the display is the ability to do picture-by-picture and picture-in-picture. This is made possible by the built-in USB 3.0 hub and KVM switch for 2 computers. So you can attached two computers to this display and control them with the same keyboard / mouse combo.

The display also has a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles and 1.07b color depth. The screen has a standard color gamut of 99% sRGB coverage.

You also have the ability to connect your smartphone or tablet to the display using the mini-Displayport. The stand on the display offers height, swivel and tilt adjustments, but due to the shape of the display there is not any screen rotation.

The expected MSRP on the display is going to be below $1200. The release date should be a month or so! Here is a full listing of its specifications.
