Deepcool Steam Castle Case Review

A Look Inside
Taking a look inside we can see how everything is set up. Deepcool has gone with an all black interior to contrast the red exterior. As I said this case supports both micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards. The motherboard tray sits in the center of the case so your motherboard will be installed horizontally. This design also allows you to install larger CPU coolers (up to 200mm).

At the front of the case you have your 5.25-inch and 3.5-inch drive bays. Remember you cannot use the 3.5-inch bay for an external drive.

Moving down we find the 3.5-inch hard drive cage. This cage can support two 3.5-inch hard drives. Drives are installed in removable trays, these trays do support 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch hard drives.

Moving over to the left we see the power supply compartment. It can support normal-sized ATX power supplies up to 160mm in length. There is a ventilated section here to help with airflow of your power supply.

I have gone ahead and taken the opposite side panel off of the case so you can see how everything is set up. You can also see there is a lot of room horizontally, which means you can fit larger graphics cards in this case (up to 320 mm).

Also inside of the case we find the box of goodies that has all of our mounting screws, cable ties and the user’s guide.
