DeepCool Lucifer CPU Cooler Review

DeepCool Lucifer Overview
As I said earlier the DeepCool Lucifer is actually one of the larger CPU coolers that we have seen lately. The dimensions with the fan installed are 140 x 110 x 163mm. Unlike many coolers this is that have a dual-tower design the Lucifer uses a single-fin heatsink design. The heatsink fins are designed like a pair of wings. The fins of are of course made of aluminum.

There are a total of six 6 mm copper heatpipes that come up from the base of the cooler and go up into the heatsink on each side. From the view below we can see that our review sample comes with 36 aluminum fins.

The six heatpipes go directly into the CPU base, although they are not designed in a way to make direct contact with the CPU. The heatpipes come out of the base and you can see in the photos below that they go in different directions.

The base of the cooler is made of nickel-plated aluminum and has a nice mirror finish. If we take a closer look we can see no machining marks on any kind.

The fan that is included with the Lucifer is DeepCool’s own GF140 140 mm cooling fan. These fans are optimized for optimal airflow with minimal noise. The fan is easily attached to the heatsink with the included metal clips.
