Custom RX Vega Cards Won’t Be Seen Till Possibly November

It has been 1 month since AMD launched they Radeon RX Vega cards. The launch was anything but perfect with questionable performance, pricing issues, and availability. We have yet to see a custom Radeon RX Vega card on the market. ASUS was supposed to release triple fan STRIX versions of the RX Vega 64 and RX Vega 56, but we haven’t seen them available from any retailer.

It has been reported that discussions with AMD add-in-board partners has revealed that none of them, except for ASUS has any custom cards ready to be announced. One AIB even said that they don’t believe they can deliver custom designs anytime before mid October. The reason for this is that they are claiming that they have not even received a date when they are expected to get shipments of standalone Vega 10 GPUs to build their custom cards with.

As of right now the only Vega cards that AIB are selling have been directly supplied by AMD. So the AIB’s are just adding their stickers on there, packing them up, and selling them. So if you have been waiting for custom Radeon RX Vega cards it looks like you are going to have to wait even longer.
