Ballistix Sport Low Profile Overview
The Ballistix Sport Low Profile memory follows the same design scheme as the original Ballistix Sport memory, except it is about half the size. You have black heatspreaders on each side of the module. Each heatspreader has a Ballistix Sport VLP logo in the center and a Crucial logo on the far left side.
Flipping the modules over on the backside there is a small sticker that has all of your information on it. It lets us know this is the BLS2K8G3D1609ES2LX0 kit that runs at 1600MHz with timings of 9-9-9-24 at 1.35v.
The heatspreaders do not connect at the top of the module they are actually separated into two different heatspreaders. This kit is made for entry-level and mainstream users so do not expect an extreme cooling package here. If you compare this kit to a normal-sized kit you can see the size difference.
