Corsair VENGEANCE LED DDR4-3200 32GB Memory Kit Review

Overclocking
Overclocking on the Intel Z270 platform is pretty easy. The easiest way to overclock would be up simply change the frequency divider in the BIOS. To achieve the best overclock we try to stay with the timings that the XMP profile recommends, but we will loosen or tighten timings depending on how things go.

The XMP profile puts this kit at 3200 MHz. In the BIOS I started moving up the frequency divider. Naturally the first time up from 3200 MHz is 3333 MHz. With no issues at all I was able to run the memory at 3333 MHz! This is with the same 16-18-18-36 timings!

After going up to 3333 MHz the next step up was 3466 MHz. Unfortunately the kit would not go any higher, even with a voltage bump. But when it comes to DDR4 going above 3200 MHz is still pretty impressive!
