Here is what our memory benchmarking suite is comprised of…

AIDA64 Cache & Memory Benchmark (download)
SiSoftware Sandra 2011 (download)
– Memory Bandwidth Benchmark
– Memory Latency Benchmark
– Cache & Memory Benchmark

So in our testing we will be testing the memory at the advertised speed of 1600MHz then at overclocked speeds of 1700MHz, 1800MHz, and 2000MHz.  Our first test is the AIDA64 Cache & Memory Benchmark.

aida64

As you can see we have 4 results: Latency, Copy, Write and Read.  Higher scores are better for Copy, Write and Read and lower scores are better for the Latency.

Now to start the Sandra tests we have the Memory Bandwidth benchmark.  Higher scores are better here.

Now we have the Memory Latency benchmark.  Lower scores are better here.

sandra lat

Finally we have the Cache & Memory benchmark.

sandra cache

There are 2 results here: Speed Factor and Bandwidth.  Higher scores are better for the Bandwidth and lower scores are better for the Speed Factor.
