Corsair Shows Massive Dual System Concept Case

Currently the largest case Corsair has in its arsenal is the Obsidian 900D, which was released about 4 years ago. It looks like Corsair will soon have another entry into the massive case category. At Computex they are showing a new concept case which they are calling Slate. It is designed to fit two systems in a single case, offer massive cooling, and much more!

The Slate is made of aluminum with with tempered glass side panels. The side panels are mounted on hinges and can be opened up like doors to access your components inside. The case is designed to fit two full PC systems. First you have support for motherboards all the way up to server-rated form factor SSI EEB in the top of the case. Then on top of the power supply cover you have room for a mini-ITX motherboard.

As far as cooling support goes you have plenty of room for water cooling. At the front of the case you’ll find room for dual 480 mm radiators and at the top you have support for 420 mm radiators. Both of the radiator mounts come out, make it easy for you to install your water cooling components or cooling fans.

On the backside of the motherboard tray you’ll find two doors. Opening them up you’ll find storage mounts, and space for cabling and of course your power supplies. For power supply support you have room for a normal ATX power supply for the main system and a SFX power supply for the mini-ITX system.

Corsair had some custom-built systems using the Slate showing what was possible, they looked pretty awesome!
