Corsair Crystal Series 280X RGB Case Review

The Lights and Corsair iCue Software
When you first turn your system on your will notice the two LL120 fans light up with RGB lighting, which actually looks quite good and they do fill up the front of the case with some nice light too.

If you want to actually control the LED effects on these fans you’ll need to download Corsair’s brand new iCUE software. This is actually the first time we’ve used the new iCUE software. Upon installation it found the Lighting Node Pro RGB controller and gives us options to select what is connected to each channel. So we select the LL RGB Series fans and that we have two connected.

Now we have a section for Lighting Channel 1 and we can choose effects and actually individually control each of the 16 RGB LEDs on each fan. That gives you ultimate control, but if you don’t want to take the time to do that Corsair gives you a lot of predefined effects.
