Corsair has just announced a new case in their Obsidian Series line of cases. The 750D is a full tower case and will be the little brother to the massive 900D and bigger brother to the Micro-ATX 350D. The 750D keeps the same black monolithic design with its brushed aluminum and solid steel construction. The case is designed to make PC building easy with tool-free side panels and drive bays.
As far as what you can fit inside there are 9 expansion slots to fit quite a lot of graphics cards. There are six tool-free hard drive combo bays in two cages that support 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch hard drives. There is actually room for two more cages for up to 12 hard drives. You also have four tool-free side-mounted drive cages for SSDs and finally three tool-free 5.25-inch drive bays.
When it comes to cooling Corsair includes three AF140L high-airflow fans (2 front, 1 rear). There is room for up to 8 cooling fans. If you want to go the watercooling route the case has room for 280mm or 240mm radiators at the front, 360mm or 280mm radiators at the top, a 240mm radiator at bottom and a 140 mm or 120 mm radiator at the rear.
On the front panel of the case you have two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports and audio connections. To keep the case clean there are removable dust filters on the front, rear, and top of the case.
The Obsidian Series 750D has a suggested retail price of $159.99 in the US and is available immediately from Corsair’s worldwide network of authorized distributors and resellers. It is backed with a limited 2-year warranty and Corsair’s excellent customer service and technical support.
